Overview
In this guide you'll learn how to filter data by URL in the Blue Triangle portal. This functionality is currently available on the Real User Performance Detail Page and in the API.
How to Find the RUM Performance Detail Page
First, navigate to the Real User Performance Detail page. You can find this page under the Real User Monitoring section.
How to Filter by URL
To filter by URL, first open the filter options by clicking the filter icon in the top right of the screen. Then, scroll to the Page Segmentation section of the filters. Change the "Filter Selector" option to URL Search.
You'll see a new field appear. Here you can enter a full URL or a sub-string. The filter assumes an exact match unless one or more wildcards (*) are used. For example, "*www.example.com/* would look up all URLs containing "www.example.com/" and "https://www.example.com/" would return data for that specific URL. In this example we're searching for all urls containing "https://www.sports.com/c/*."
After you've set all of your filters and finished entering the URL Search string you want, click apply filters to update the page. The RUM Performance Detail page will now be showing data filtered by the given URL Search you've entered.
This filter option will be available in other areas of the portal in the future. Also, this filtering can be done using the Blue Triangle API. See Documentation > API Documentation > Performance Endpoint > Data Filtering.
